Rare Antique Mexican Silver Inlaid Spurs
This is a rare and unique set of Mexican charro style silver spurs most likely from Amozoc, Mexico. Silver inlaid and engraved throughout with a variety of motifs including a different set of wings on each side of the shank and leaves and flowers throughout the heel bands. Features large swinging buttons with the letters JS engraved in the center of a wreath of crescent moons. Button features a leather type concho with some unique embroidery, possibly pitiado with some copper wire.
This pair is in good condition with a nice patina indicative of it’s age.
