Rare Civil War Artillery Officer's Baldric w/ Cartridge Box & Sling Belt
Very rare Civil War cartridge box with leather sling strap used by Artillery Officers. Box is embossed with gilt cross cannons and a bomb burst. Strap features gilt brass lions head with chains connecting to a gilt shield. Sling strap has large brass adjustment buckle. Leather has moderate wear and is peeling off on the reverse side. Overall this piece is in very good condition.
