This is an original Hurlburt pattern double row cartridge belt to fit 100 rounds used in the Spanish American War by company I, Sixth regiment which is a volunteer infantry from Whiteside, Illinois. They served as volunteers in the Puerto Rican campaign during the war of 1898. Features a C belt loop clip, no buckle. Double loops for the .30 - 40 Krag rifle cartridge. Marked Co I 6th and 22 behind the belt loop.
This item is in overall good condition with no rips or tears, only moderate stains / soiling on the fabric from use.
